FIOS · How to use this prototype

Everything here runs in your browser on generated sample data. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Acronyms are explained in the glossary.

A 15-minute tour

  1. Ecosystem (5 min): press Play, let a day run, then plant a break and follow it across every process. Press Resolve and watch everything turn green together.
  2. Architecture (2 min): the design behind it, on one page.
  3. Repo & sec lending (2 min): faults caught the day they start, not at month-end billing.
  4. Confirmation match (4 min): the same trade entered two different ways.
  5. Operations pane and Audit history (2 min): department views, and the tamper-evident record.

Ecosystem

  1. Play runs a simulated trading week, Monday 16 to Friday 20 November. Speed changes the pace; Step applies exactly one event.
  2. Each tile is one process. Green means in agreement, amber means attention soon, red means a break. Click a tile to see its records.
  3. The bar under the controls shows the last event: its source, its SHA-256 hash, and how many views it updated. Every view is recalculated from the same record in the same step, so no process is ever behind another.
  4. Dealer chat shows OTC and FX trades being agreed between traders, and the terms FIOS read from each conversation.
  5. Sources connected counts the messages received from each source: chat, book of record, exchange, clearing, counterparties, clients, custodian, market data.
  6. Plant a break: choose one and press Plant break. A case opens with its source (for example the trader's user ID, desk and workstation), when it was detected, and every process it reaches.
  7. Resolve sends the correction as a new event. Every affected process clears in that same step; nothing is edited after the fact.
  8. Test tamper-evidence alters one stored record without going through the system. Verification fails at that record, as it would for any tampering. Press it again to undo.
  9. The Compliance feed lists possible issues found by the configured rules, for review. A flag is not a legal finding; each firm sets its rules with its own compliance team.

Confirmation match

  1. Choose a product: OTC interest rate swap, equity / bond cash trade, FX spot / forward, or repo / securities lending.
  2. Load sample fills a ready-made pair; Clear lets you type your own. Fields can be typed in any order and any format.
  3. Green = same substance ("Bought" and "BUY", 25,000,000 and 25000000); red = a real difference, field named; grey = missing on one side.
  4. Red only, Green only, Needs input and the search box narrow a long trade. + Add field adds a field.
  5. Excel template downloads a sheet for the selected product; Import brings it back. CSV and JSON export the comparison.

Repo & securities lending

  1. 80 open loans compared every day for 10 days: quantity, fee rate, collateral value and accrued fee.
  2. The chart shows loans out of agreement per day; the table lists every planted fault and when it was caught.

Operations pane

  1. The department view menu changes columns and filters; every department sees the same record.
  2. Filter under each column, search, click a heading to sort. Columns shows, hides or reorders; CSV exports.
  3. Each alert is a break predicted before settlement, with the rule, the values, who is affected and the deadline.
  4. Click a trade for its full history; 💬 opens the conversation attached to it. Status, assignee and note are editable; the record is not.

Audit history

  1. Filter by date range, action, trade or free text. The badge confirms the chain has not been altered.

Prototype today, pilot next

Matching engine, tolerances, the shared record, department views, tamper-evident audit trail, booking exports, the full-chain ecosystem simulation (income, corporate actions, FX and cash, lending, collateral, billing, compliance rules) Read-only connection to your own systems and files, your field mappings and tolerances, your compliance rules, single sign-on and multi-factor login, encryption at rest, an independent penetration test, and measurement against your current process

About the data

All trades, securities, firms, traders and people on these pages are generated. Dividend pay dates are compressed into the week for the demo. Scores shown (for example 100% on the operations pane) demonstrate the mechanics on test data; they are not a claim about real-world performance. Measuring that is what a pilot is for.
